Adrián Sibar has worked drawing for editorials like DC Comics, IMAGE comics, Dark Horse Comics, Glénat Editions (France) between others for titles like, Batgirl (DC), Planet Of The Apes (Tim Burton version), Star Wars (Lucasfilm). Co-created Bang!Tango with Joe Kelly (Man Of Action Studios / IMAGE), Six Gun Gorilla (LDOV) with Brian Christgau, and done several other comic books throug 20 years of work as visual storyteller.
He resumed painting in 2012 with a show called “Dream Simple!/Dream Complex!”. 18 acrylics were shown in that exhibition with very good spontaneous repercussion with the press of South America. After that, produced more paintings and made the exhibitions named Deep Symbols at ICANA and Tango y jazz (Moves the World), this one at the Judges and Magistrates Association of Argentina. He then got back to work in comic books. By 2018 Adrian did a tour by Los Angeles and Miami, there exhibited paintings at Winblock, Winwood Miami, provided for private collections, and activated a mural by Castle Hotel. Highlight of this trip was the sale of Afro American Statue Of Liberty 01 (Jazz), purchased by Films director Amy Goldstein, Venice Beach, LA. Many of Adrian´s paintings are exhibited in private collections of New York, Los Angeles, and Argentina.
